Welcome to Disctrict House

District House provides a supportive and structured residential environment where children can feel safe, understood and connected.

Our work is guided by the Woodford Psychosocial Practice Model, which recognises that healing and development happen through relationships and shared experiences. At District House, we focus on creating a stable community where children are supported to explore who they are, develop trust in others and grow in confidence.

The home provides a consistent daily rhythm that includes education, activities, community meetings and individual key work sessions. These opportunities allow children to reflect on their experiences, build emotional understanding and develop practical life skills.

Staff at District House are committed to creating an environment where every child feels listened to, respected and supported. Through patient and thoughtful relationships, we help children develop resilience, strengthen their identity and prepare for the next stage of their lives.

District House is a place where children are encouraged to feel safe, belong and move forward with confidence.
