Woodford Children’s Home provides a warm, structured and nurturing residential environment for children who need stability, understanding and the opportunity to rebuild trust in relationships. 

At Woodford, we recognise that children’s experiences shape how they understand themselves and the world around them. Our approach is guided by Woodford’s Psychosocial Practice Model, which places relationships, belonging and development at the centre of everything we do. Through consistent care, meaningful routines and thoughtful support, we aim to create the conditions in which children can feel safe, build confidence and develop a stronger sense of identity.

Children are supported by a stable team of trained practitioners who understand the importance of listening, curiosity and empathy. Daily life in the home focuses on shared experiences such as education, activities, community living and key work sessions that help children explore their strengths and develop practical skills for the future.

Our aim is not simply to provide a placement, but to offer a living and learning community where children can experience belonging, develop trusting relationships and move forward with hope.
